Richard McNeel (BA, May 1979) is a proud supporter of the Mississippi State University É«¿âtv of Architecture. He serves on and is chair of the its advisory board and recently named the gallery in Giles Hall, now the Richard and Charlotte McNeel Gallery.

Architecture Accreditation
The Mississippi State University É«¿âtv of Architecture is the ONLY accredited professional architecture program in the state of Mississippi.
The next accreditation visit is scheduled for 2033.

Brasfield & Gorrie Competition
The Brasfield & Gorrie Student Design Competition is an annual interdisciplinary design competition composed of teams of students from each department in the É«¿âtv, Art and Design (CAAD) at Mississippi State University. The goal is to expose students to an interdisciplinary project delivery system to facilitate the design of a structure that incorporates sustainability, innovation and LEED construction principles. It is the goal of the competition to overcome preconceived ideas of the roles traditionally assumed by the various disciplines in the college.
